Harold JAY Trotter began his love for music in San Diego, CA at the Bayview Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Timothy James Winters. As a member of the children's choir, youth choir, men's chorus, young adult ensemble, and mass choir his love for gospel music grew. It was at Bayview Baptist Church that he had the opportunity to direct several choirs in addition to the California Progressive District Youth Choir. He later attended Grambling State University and studied music for the voice. It was during this time that he served as the student conductor for the University Choir for several years throughout his matriculation. In addition to the school choir, he served as Minister of Music at churches in Ruston, Monroe and Rayville, LA. He's directed the Northeastern Community Mass Choir and has toured throughout the south. After completing college, Harold then took his love for gospel music and brought it to the stage with shows like Ain't Always Been Saved and The Messiah of OZ. His continued love for God, God's people, and music is what led him to found INSPIRE. |
